Raymond R. Pierce, M.S., P.T.
Ray lives in Knoxville and is married to wife, Donna. He has been married for 38 years and has 3 boys. Michael, the oldest, after being a Platoon Leader with the 1st Ranger Battalion stationed in Georgia, he is now working at Goldman Sachs in Salt Lake City Utah. Elie, Michael's wife, is a Clinical Psychologist at a VA hospital, they welcomed there first child Michael in 2023 . Joey is a biochemist and married to wife, Stephanie and living in Frisco, Texas. Joey is working for Asahi as a Tech Sales professional and Stephanie continues to work for Frito Lay. They welcomed their first child Jackson in 2017 , second child Caroline in 2020, and third child John in 2022. John is a Associate Attorney at Tensegrity .
Ray has a B.S. in physical education from the Citadel, a M.S. in exercise physiology from the University of Tennessee, and a B.S. in physical therapy from New York University. He has 25+ years experience in the medical field. and in the Oak Ridge area initially for 10 years in Home Care and since 1997 in outpatient physical therapy. He is affiliated with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Physical Therapy Provider Network (PTPN), PTPN Quality Assurance Committee, US Rowing Association, Oak Ridge Rowing Association, Oak Ridge Sportsman Association, US Rowing Sports Medicine and Research Society. He has been an invited speaker to the Roane County Dental Society in 2012, Oak Ridge Dental Society in 2013, 2017, and to the Human Performance and Rehabilitation Center in 2012, he also teaches ORICL classes at Roane State. He enjoys water sports and slalom skiing, swimming, scuba diving and rowing. He loves being outdoors and enjoys hiking, camping, and bicycling. He is also involved with various types of fitness activities. Ray enjoys spending quality time with his family. He loves helping patients reach their full potential. Patients benefit from his years of experience and knowledge of fitness and exercise.
